The following excerpt from the curriculum guide describes the course to be taught:

Science 7 is an integrated course focusing on three core content areas: Physical Science, Earth Science and Life Science. Physical Science will include a study of forces and motion. Earth Science will include a study of the Earth’s interior, climate, oceans, and the universe. Life Science will include a study of living organisms, their interactions with each other,
and their interactions with their nonliving environment.
